Downtown Diplomats

Established in 2015, the Downtown Diplomats program, a public-private partnership between the City of Reno and High Sierra Industries, provides the City of Reno with a capable workforce to help beautify the downtown district and make it more welcoming for both residents and visitors. Working as a team, the Downtown Diplomats not only help keep downtown Reno neat by picking up trash and pulling weeds, but also report maintenance issues such as graffiti or potholes. The Diplomats also greet residents and visitors and, helping answer any general questions they might have.
